Well, happy as I am to contribute to this site, I want to share my own story. I am the proud owner of a seven foot long boa constrictor whom I affectionately call Al. But realistically, I only get fresh food from the pet store if my frozen supply of rodents has run out, not only to avoid embarrassing scenes but also to escape the ridiculously high prices of these local franchises.
